I live in Jacksonville, and used to travel to Sneads Ferry to Smith Family Dentistry because I loved the staff there. Even when they opened a location right down the street from me, I kept driving that 30 minutes. Then Dr. Peachee came along and increased my love for the staff even more. He is by far the best dentist I have ever had. That's saying a lot because I'm almost 60, and have always had a mouth full of trouble. So now I travel an hour and 23 minutes, and it's still worth it. The staff at this location is amazing as well. I highly recommend!Posted on Google

I would highly recommend the dentist office 💯 as I was coming out of Harris teeter Julie who works in the office was opening the door and I asked if they were accepting new patients, she was so pleasant and informative and told me yes. I then went home to take the medicine I just purchased at Harris teeter due to extreme pain from two cavities when was a broken filling. And then dealt with Danae, she was so sweet sent right over the forms I needed to fill out and scheduled me appointment ASAP. Special shout-out to Kim and Dr Peachee for making my procedure the quickest easiest and funniest experience I've ever had at a dentist. Trust me I was in no mood to laugh but due to their professionalism an immediate care I know I was in safe hands. Highly recommend any dental needs you have, give this office a shot! You won't regret it!Posted on Google

Most Popular Questions
Dental crowns are recommended when a tooth is severely damaged, weakened, or decayed beyond what a filling can repair. They're also used after root canal treatment, to support dental bridges, to cover dental implants, or for cosmetic purposes to improve a tooth's appearance when other treatments aren't suitable.
With proper care, dental crowns typically last 10-15 years or longer. Porcelain-fused-to-metal and all-metal crowns generally have the longest lifespan, while all-porcelain crowns offer the most natural appearance. Regular check-ups and good oral hygiene significantly extend the life of your crown.
Traditional crowns require two visits: the first to prepare the tooth, take impressions, and place a temporary crown; the second to cement the permanent crown. With our CEREC technology, we can often complete the entire process in a single visit, designing and milling your custom crown while you wait.
A: The crown procedure is typically comfortable, as we use local anesthesia to numb the area. Patients may experience minor sensitivity after the procedure, particularly if the crown is placed over a tooth that's had a root canal, but this usually resolves quickly. Sedation options are available for anxious patients.
A: Care for your crown just like your natural teeth: brush twice daily, floss daily (with special attention to the crown margins), and maintain regular dental check-ups. Avoid biting hard objects like ice or using your teeth as tools. If you grind your teeth, we may recommend a nightguard to protect your crown.
A: Absolutely. Today's dental crowns, especially all-porcelain and ceramic options, are designed to mimic the translucency, color, and texture of natural teeth. Dr. Peachee takes great care to match your crown to your surrounding teeth, creating a restoration that blends seamlessly with your smile.
